Vasily Kharakhulakh

Vasily Kharakhulakh was born in Yalta, Donetsk region, on May 12, 1939.

In 1972 he graduated from the Siberian Metallurgical Institute. His specialty was “Iron and Steel Metallurgy”

In 1991-1992 he held a position of a Deputy Chief in the Department of scientific and technical progress of the state committee of Ukraine on metallurgical industry «Gosmetallurgprom».

From May, 1992 to February, 1993 he is a Chief of the Department of Metallurgy and Coke Chemistry of the Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine.

From February, 1993 to March, 1995 he is a Chief of the Management of metallurgical, tube, hard component and heat-resistant production of the Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine.

Since 1995 he is the Director General of production association «Metallurgprom», Dnipropetrovsk.

In July, 2006 he took the position of a Chairman of All-Ukrainian Association of Regional Employers’ Organizations of Metallurgical Complex «Ukrainian Federation of Metallurgists».

Vasily Kharakhulakh is an Honored Metallurgist of Ukraine.

He has an order «The Sign of Honour» and jubilee medal «For Valorous Labor».

He is married and has a daughter and a son.
