Principles of activity

Self-government

Ukrainian Federation of Metallurgists has a democratic system of management, which is ratified by the Statute. All of its members have equal rights in the decision-making activity of Federation, regardless of their status and other signs.

Independence

Ukrainian Federation of Metallurgists operates regardless of political parties and trends, of executive power and local self-government organs, of trade unions and their associations and is not liable for their obligations.

Political apathy

Ukrainian Federation of Metallurgists does not participate in political activity, activity of any political party or political movement.

Voluntariness of membership

Every particular regional employers’ association of metallurgical branch, created in accordance with the Law of Ukraine «On Employers’ Organizations», can enter the Ukrainian Federation of Metallurgists, and has a right to walk-out at any time.

Matching the aims

Ukrainian Federation of Metallurgists carries out its activity in accordance with the declared aims and tasks, which are top-priority for the employers of Ukraine, as well as with the Statute and decisions of its managing organs.

Branch structure

Ukrainian Federation of Metallurgists unites the regional employers’ associations of metallurgical branch for consolidation, defense and representation of its members’ interests.
